“I am Regina Lane, a Christian woman living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Over half of my life ago, at the young age of 19, I was the victim and survivor of a brutal attack that nearly took my life. Working closely with the police until 1989, I was led to believe that my case was not associated with Deborah Sykes murder six months earlier. I believe today that I was at least the fourth woman attacked by the same person. My testimony actually helped bring the right man, Willard Brown to justice for murdering a beautiful newspaper editor, and freeing a man from prison, Darryl Hunt, wrongly incarcerated for over 18 years for this crime. “My purpose in telling my story is to bring clarity, truth and to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ for giving me the boldness, strength and confidence to fight my attacker and to let other women know they can go on living a happy and productive life!"
